In December 2009 Escurio secured purchase of a majority holding in Holland Environment Group. Holland Environment Group supplies patented solutions for remediation of contaminated soil without digging and dumping of the polluted ground. This process of 'in-situ' cleaning is able to remove a large range of contaminants from soil, and is especially suited for applications in built-up areas, city centers, and underneath buildings, and has proven itself in over 200 projects in the Netherlands and abroad.

Daughter company Holland Watertechnology BV supplies the BIFIPRO system which guarantees to remove legionella bacteria from drinking water systems. Because of this warm-water temperatures can be reduced and clients save money and the environment.
